I guess the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree! Dr. Sydney Browder, daughter of Dr. Browder, has officially joined our practice full time. We couldn’t be happier to have her around again and her presence gives the name Family Dentistry another meaning here in our office!

Sydney was born in Chapel Hill while her dad finished dental school and grew up in Advance. Having grown up immersed in the profession, she decided from an early age that she wanted to follow in her dad’s footsteps. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Chemistry and minors in Biology and Medical Anthropology.  She then ventured north to continue her studies in Boston and earned a master’s degree in Oral Health Sciences from Boston University. Falling in love with Beantown, she entered dental school at BU and graduated in 2023 with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. She has been practicing for the last two years in a private practice in southeastern Virginia. 

 

In her spare time, Sydney enjoys running, playing tennis, antiquing and spending time with her fiancé Aaron and flop-eared pup Beacon.
